Many people enjoy watching the changing seasons. But seasons aren't the only things that change. If you receive Social Security benefits, there are certain changes in your life that we need to know in order to continue paying you. Tell us about a change of address, even if you receive your payments electronically, so we can get in touch with you when we need to. Let us know if you change banks as well. If you receive disability benefits, we need to know if you start work, stop work, or have changes in your hours or pay. If you receive Supplemental Security Income or SSI, we need to know about your living arrangements since payments are based, in part, on financial need.
