If at any time in the RVR process, the AC agrees to seek remand of the pending court case, the analyst must advise the appropriate OGC office by the most expeditious means available (telephone or e-mail). The analyst will prepare a confirming memorandum which must be sent by FAX or e-mail within 24 hours of the initial notification. Send the memorandum out over the name of the branch chief and include a brief explanation of the AC's reason for concluding that good cause exists for seeking remand and a statement explaining the action the AC proposes to take upon remand. The case must be routed to the CCPRB for control purposes.
