I-4-3-3.Clerical Procedures for Incoming Remand Orders — Cases Referred by CCPRB to OAO Branches

Last Update: 9/13/05 (Transmittal I-4-15)

The procedures for processing remand orders explained above will be followed by the OAO branches when a new remand order is referred by the CCPRBs. All LOTS entries will be made by staff in the CCPRBs up to and including an entry showing the date and OAO branch to which the remand was referred. After receipt of the case, the OAO branch support staff will make appropriate entries in the ACAPS and OHA CCS systems to reflect the receipt date, assignment to an analyst, and all subsequent case processing activities, including the date when the case is returned to the CCPRB. When necessary, additional case processing information may be included in the “remarks” portion of ACAPS.
