Comparison of Before and After - Before new law, Medicare continues at least 39 months(3 yrs., 3 mos.) after the trial work period (TWP) ends and Medicare continues for at least 4 years (includes TWP) when you return to work. After new law, Medicare continues at least 93 months (7 yrs., 9 mos.) after the trial work period (TWP) ends and  Medicare continues for at least 8 and 1/2 years (includes TWP) when you return to work.
