Joan Conlin is Vice President of, Customer Sales & Service at Lands' End, headquartered in Dodgeville, Wisconsin. She was appointed to this position in 2005. Ms. Conlin oversees the Lands' End customer experience and is charged with providing a world-class shopping experience in all channels including catalog, online and retail. Under Joan's leadership, Lands' End has been recognized as one of the Top Ten Retailers by the National Retail Federation several years in a row. In 2008, Business Week recognized Lands' End among all industries as one of the Top Ten within their Customer Service Champs Survey. Ms. Conlin has a 25 year Lands’ End career serving in leadership roles in customer sales, distribution operations and the business-to-business division, Business Outfitters. From 2002 to 2005, Conlin was Vice President Operations, Lands' End Business Outfitters Division. She was responsible for the embroidery, pick pack and ship operation and the sales and service organization. In her role, she focused on developing and executing a focused strategy to strengthen the selling process to support and achieve aggressive growth. In addition, she developed new personalization processes and alternate methods of logo application. As the Vice President of Distribution, she was critical in setting up the logistics for the world-class 2-day delivery network for Lands’ End. In addition to improving service, she was involved in creating a patented packing sortation system that delivered significant cost savings. Joan is a graduate of University Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a major in Elementary Education. She currently lives in Madison, Wisconsin. |
