Executive Order 13520 gives the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) authority to determine if certain agency programs are high-error. Based on OMB guidelines, the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program is high-error, which means that it requires more frequent measures and targets. In compliance with the additional requirements that come with this determination, we have established the following supplemental measures and targets for the SSI program:

Overpayment/Underpayments due to a Change that Affects Payment Amount or Eligibility
Cause: The recipient fails to report a change that affects payment amount or eligibility. Program Savings: We estimate every dollar spent on SSI redeterminations yields better than $7 in program savings over 10 years, including savings accruing to Medicaid (as of the FY 2012 President's Budget).	By September 30, 2012, complete the budgeted number of 2,622,000 SSI non-disability redeterminations.	As of March 2012, we completed more than 1.6 million SSI redeterminations.	June 30, 2012
Overpayments due to Unreported Wages
Cause: Recipients fail to report their new or increased wages. Error Amount: $361 million (9.7 percent of all overpayment deficiency dollars) in FY 2010.	By the end of FY 2012, increase the monthly use of SSITWR by 10 percent above the usage in September 2011.	As of March 2012, we received over 33,000 successful wage reports via SSITWR.	June 30, 2012
