107-17 HOUSE WAYS AND MEANS FAVORABLY REPORTS H.R. 4090, PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY, WORK, AND FAMILY PROMOTION ACT OF 2002On May 2, 2002, the House Committee on Ways and Means favorably reported H.R. 4090, the "Personal Responsibility, Work, and Family Promotion Act of 2002," as amended, by a roll call vote of 23 yeas to 16 nays. The bill would reauthorize the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program, and make changes in programs relating to child care, child welfare, and child support.
