Promotion of the Spanish Retirement Estimator

Social Security Administration (SSA) executive, Alfredo Navarro Jr., participated in a live talk show broadcasted on Radio Viva 900 in Laurel, MD.  During the interview, host Mavi Baez, Alfredo and SSA Public Affairs Specialist, Diana Varela, spoke about the Spanish Retirement Estimator and encouraged listeners to visit www.segurosocial.gov to utilize the estimator as a financial planning tool.  They discussed the ability to create multiple scenarios to calculate benefits based on different retirement ages and future earnings.  They also discussed how estimator results may differ from estimates found on an individual’s “Your Social Security Statement.” Alfredo and Diana were excited to answer calls from the audience regarding the newest Social Security tool!
