Motion: The Panel moved, seconded and
approved minutes from the April 3 and 9 teleconference and
the May 14-16 quarterly Panel meetings.

Topic: Adequacy of Incentives and One for Two Reports,
and Committee Priorities
Motion: The Panel moved, seconded, and
approved the following motion: "The Panel requests from
Deputy Commissioner Martin Gerry and his staff written materials
in response to questions relating to five topics: the overall
Ticket evaluation; the AOI research; a $1 for $2 demonstration
project; ESRs and early intervention demo. The Panel would
request written responses within one month followed by a briefing
on the topics listed."

Action: Staff will contact each panel
member to discuss reasonable accommodation needs to be considered

19 Congressional Testimony, and Additional Correspondence
Motion: With regard to the letter containing
questions from Congress, a motion was made, seconded, and
passed that the first, second and third questions be referred
to the Program Design, Implementation, and Evaluation Committee;
and the fourth, fifth, and sixth questions be referred to
the Program and Legal Policy committee. The motion passed
with Ms. Gracechild abstaining.
Topic: Next Quarterly Meeting, November
13-15, Albuquerque, NM
Action: The theme of the next meeting
will be Training, Technical Assistance and Marketing, including
the technical assistance centers for the Benefits Planning
and Outreach Grants, Systems Change Grants, and Training for
ENs.
Topic: Ms. Webb will work with staff
to contact the Senate and determine the status of the Work
Opportunity Tax Credit. Staff will prepare a letter to the
Senate on behalf of the Panel supporting this legislation.
