This transmittal revises HALLEX I-2-155 D., Examples of Special Situations Which May Require a Change in the Order in Which Cases are Assigned, as follows:
It changes the title to “Special Situations Which Require a Change in the Order in Which Cases are Assigned.”
In D. 1., Critical Case, it adds a reference to terminal illness (TERI) situations.
In D. 11., Appeals Council remands, it adds a statement that an Appeals Council remand case must be flagged and assigned immediately.
The transmittal also makes several minor editorial changes to enhance clarity and consistency.
