Chapter: I-2-7
Subject: Posthearing Actions
Hearing Offices are replacing four-track tape recorders with digital recording equipment. The new business process will not allow the digital recordings to be supplemented following the hearing. Therefore the requirement to reopen the oral record solely to enter documents received after the hearing is eliminated. The procedures for entering posthearing documents into the record as exhibits remain the same.
This transmittal revises section I-2-7-35 in Volume I, Division 2 of HALLEX. Section I-2-7-35 explains the process of entering posthearing evidence into the record. I-2-7-35 C (Reopening the Oral Record) and I-2-7-35 D (Sample Reopening Statements) are deleted.
