Background

As part of an overall reorganization of Hearings, Appeals and Litigation Law (HALLEX) manual Division I-4, this transmittal removes sections from chapter I-4-3 of the Hearings, Appeals and Litigation Law (HALLEX) manual because the information was incorporated in new chapter I-4-6. This reorganization organizes instructions in a manner that more closely mirrors the business practices of the Division of Civil Actions in the Office of Appellate Operations.

Explanation of Content and Changes

We amended HALLEX I-4-3 as follows:

I-4-3-1 – We removed the section in its entirety as the information was moved to HALLEX I-4-6-1.

I-4-3-2 – We removed the section in its entirety as the information was moved to HALLEX I-4-6-10.

I-4-3-3 – We removed the section in its entirety as the information was moved to HALLEX I-4-6-12.

I-4-3-10 – We removed the section in its entirety as the information was moved to HALLEX I-4-6-15.

I-4-3-30 – We removed the section in its entirety as the information was moved to HALLEX I-4-6-20.

I-4-3-31 – We removed the section in its entirety as the information was moved to HALLEX I-4-6-25.

I-4-3-32 – We removed the section in its entirety as the information was moved to HALLEX I-4-6-30.

I-4-3-34 – We removed the section in its entirety as the information was moved to HALLEX I-4-6-35.

I-4-3-35 – We removed the section in its entirety as the information was moved to HALLEX I-4-6-40.

I-4-3-40 – We removed the section in its entirety as the information was moved to HALLEX I-4-6-5.

I-4-3-41 – We removed the section in its entirety as the information was moved to HALLEX I-4-6-6.

I-4-3-42 – We removed the section in its entirety as the information was moved to HALLEX I-4-6-45.

I-4-3-50 – We removed the section in its entirety as the information was moved to HALLEX I-4-6-50.
