Subject: Processing Cases Involving Potential Fraud, Similar Fault, and Abuse Issues
Background
This transmittal revises the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review Temporary Instructions (TI) in Volume I, Division 5 by removing TI I-5-1-15 regarding potential fraud, similar fault, and abuse issues and incorporating the instructions in other chapters in the Hearings, Appeals, and Litigation Law (HALLEX) manual.
Explanation of Content and Changes
TI I-5-1-15 – We removed the TI titled “Processing Cases Involving Potential Fraud, Similar Fault, and Abuse Issues” and incorporated the instructions in existing HALLEX chapters I-1-3 and I-2-9 and new HALLEX chapters I-2-10 and I-3-2.
