Background

We previously issued these instructions as Staff Guides and Programs Digest (SGPD) Bulletin III-22(86) on December 11, 1986. The SGPD is now obsolete and is replaced by HALLEX — the Hearings, Appeals, Litigation, and Law (LEX) manual. We are reissuing SGPD Bulletin III-22(86) as HALLEX TI 5-412, Supplement A.

Explanation of Content and Changes

In reissuing these instructions, we deleted references to the obsolete OHA Handbook in Section II. and updated information in Section IV. to reflect current contacts and telephone numbers.

Remove

Remove SGPD Bulletin No. III-22(86). Offices which received the attachments (New York State Plan dated October 5, 1972 and the Court Order dated July 31, 1986) should retain the attachments and file them with this TI.

Insert

In the binder for TIs, insert TI 5-412, Supplement A and, if applicable, the attachments received with SGPD Bulletin No. III-22(86).
