1604.What kind of evidence shows that a beneficiary needs a representative payee?

There are several kinds of evidence we will consider when determining whether an adult beneficiary needs help managing their payments. These are:

1. Legal evidence (see §1605), or

2. Medical evidence (see §1606), and

3. Lay evidence (see §1607).
