1714.How Do You Prove a Step-Relationship
You can prove a step-relationship by:
Proving the relationship between the child and the natural
(or adopting) parent (see
§§1707-1713);
and
Proving the marriage between the natural (or adopting)
parent and the stepparent (see
§1716 and
§1717).
