If you or your representative, if you have one, want to withdraw a hearing request from the Social Security Administration, you may do so at any time before we mail your hearing decision. We must receive a request in writing, and the easiest way to withdraw a hearing request is by submitting the Request to Withdraw a Hearing Request (HA-85) form. You may also send a written statement requesting a withdrawal of your hearing request.
You or your representative can send the completed form or written statement to your local Social Security hearing office.
