J. Douglas Brown
As a member of President Roosevelt's Committee on Economic Security, J. Douglas Brown was one of a small number of persons who drafted the original Social Security Program enacted in 1935. He has served on all of the Advisory Councils in Social Security, and has also served as an advisor to Government in numerous. other ways. He was the first Provost of Princeton University, Dean of the Faculty, and Director of the Industrial Relations Section.
