I-4-9-20.Discovery Requests
Last Update: 1/12/16 (Transmittal I-4-49)
Occasionally, an individual litigant will file a discovery request with the court, such as a request for production of documents or a request for response to interrogatories. The Office of the Executive Director is responsible for coordinating the Office of Appellate Operations' (OAO) response to these requests, which are handled in the same manner as discovery requests in class action litigation. With the branch chief's approval, the analyst will forward the request to the Executive Director's Office at ^DCARO OAO, with subject line “Discovery Request.”
